ADDENDUM TO BID NO. 1905 GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTIRCT Purchasing Department 10331 Stanford Avenue Garden Grove, Ca 92840 (714) 663-6340 Date: June 15, 2020 Project: District-Wide Purchase and/or Lease of Relocatable Modular Buildings From: Emily Hughes, Purchasing Addendum Number: 1 You are hereby notified of the following changes, additions or deletions to the Documents for the above titled Project. Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Questions per verbatim: Q. Is there a standard District spec we need to base these buildings off of? The bid documents do not include specifications for roof slope, roof finish, exterior siding, door hardware, interior wall finishes, etc. If you could please provide specs for all materials and finishes. A. Building pricing is to include DSA approved PC held by the manufacturer or supplier of the buildings including new typical industry standard standing seem metal roofs for new buildings, and minimum refurbished to like new condition for used buildings. Standard exterior siding are to be provided as T-111 type, interior drywall is to be vinyl wrapped 5/8 inch Gypsum board with hidden fastener clip installations. Q. Please provide interior elevations for buildings with casework (kitchens, science labs). A. Interior additions will be on an as needed basis. Provide pricing for base building with no additions for these items. Q. What finish of casework is required for Science labs (epoxy, laminated) – please note which Science Lab requires which finishes. A. Interior additions will be on an as needed basis. Provide pricing for base building with no additions for these items. Q. What type of pipes are required for science classrooms (abs, cast iron, acid)? A. Provided pricing to include ABS piping. Q. Bid matrix starting on page 26 at the top states building prices to include ‘service charges for delivery, set-up, dismantling and return’. Purchase of new buildings would not include dismantling and return. A. Confirmed. Q. For Purchase of NEW buildings, can we include manufacturer’s standard ramps or do they have to be TMP? A. Manufacturers standard PC approved ramps will be the basis of pricing to be included with purchased or leased buildings. Q. Please confirm that appliances shown on floor plans for kitchens are not to be included in pricing. A. Confirmed. Q. Page 66, D-3 48x40 Locker room does not show lockers or benches.
