The unclassified excavation quantities apperar to be high. Do they include the pavement removal volume? A1. The Unclassified Excavation quantity erroneously included the Pavement Removal volume. We have updated the DOC020, DOC330, and Electroninc Bid form to account for the correction. Sheet 02 of the plan set is also updated. Please note that Pavement quantities A1.1 and A2.1 increased as a part of our quantity audit, and is also included in the Addendum #2 which shall be made available on the portal. Q2. The plans call out Type I curb & gutter on sheet 4, but is not included in the proposal. Please clarify. A2. The Curb & Gutter type listed on sheet 4 was erroneously listed as Type I. We have updated DOC020, DOC330, and Electroninc Bid form to account for the correction. Sheet 04 of the plan set is also updated. However, this section of curb is actually to be poured monolithically to the partial Valley Gutter replacements. The combined quantities follow the City of Topeka method of payment for constructing Valley Gutter, using both Valley gutter and the Type II curb length.
