Invitation to Bid to Construct a New Public Works Facility Harris County, Georgia government is accepting sealed written bids from qualified companies to provide materials and equipment to construct a new Public Works facility located at 215 Water Oak Way in the Hamilton Business Park in Hamilton, Georgia. The project generally consists of a 4, 900 square foot office type building and a 6,200 square foot open equipment storage structure all on 7.2 acres of land. Bid documents can be acquired by contacting Architect, Alan Udy, Hecht Burdeshaw Architects, at 706-4185308. There will be a mandatory in-person pre-bid meeting on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harris County Administration Building, 104 N. College Street in Hamilton, Georgia. The deadline to submit sealed written bids is Friday, December 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harris County Administration Building, 104 N. College Street, Hamilton, Georgia 31811. All bids shall contain a 5% bid security of the bid amount. The project will be awarded on the basis of competitive sealed bids to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the requirements listed in the bid documents.
