ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS ALLEN COUNTY, OHIO OFFICE OF THE ALLEN COUNTY ENGINEER ALL-T.R. 174-1.66 – BEGG ROAD OVER CRANBERRY CREEK PRESTRESSED COMPOSITE CONCRETE BOX BEAMS The following legal notice is to receive bids to supply, deliver, and erect (7) – Prestressed Concrete Composite Box Beam Bridge Members, Level 1, CB21-48, As Per Plan, (55’-0¾”) as specified in Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specification 611 dated January 1, 2023. Erection of the beams shall include supplying a crane, setting of the beams as shown in the plans, and supplying and installing the tie rods. The fascia beams shall be sealed as detailed in the plans by the supplier. Allen County Forces will supply and install the anchor dowel, 6”x6” preformed joint filler around the dowels, the 1” preformed expansion joint filler on top of the dowels, and drill the dowel hole and are NOT a part of this agreement. All County Forces will also provide the bearing pads and bearing pad shims; however, the contractor shall ensure that the pads and shims are properly placed so as to properly set the beams. Prices to be indicated as delivered to and erected at the job site. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
