Before and/or After School Enrichment Programs

Description

Community Education intends to offer enrichment programs, from 5 to 12 weeks in length, during the spring and fall semesters, with the possibility of offering them in the summer. Vendors must have the ability to enroll students and handle payments for their programs. The District will negotiate the registration and payment process for the enrichment programs with individual firms. The Vendor/District split shall be negotiated with the awarded firm for reasons including, but not limited to, Title I schools. The vendor shall price each program as Vendor Net Cost (vendor’s wholesale cost to run this program), for the purpose of evaluation of this RFP. If awarded a contract, the vendor shall meet with the Community Education Department and enter in a contract with Community Education. The vendor shall pay to the District the negotiated rate of the Final Customer Cost. The vendor shall submit enrollment and payment records to the District upon request.Community Education is an internal program sponsored by Mesa Public Schools to foster various enrichment programs to students and community members. The District Community Education Department has the sole ability to assign and place programs at all school sites.
