The Mid-East Commission on behalf of Beaufort County, North Carolina and its municipal partners is soliciting qualifications from engineering and planning firms for planning and engineering services for the Beaufort County Merger and Regionalization Feasibility (MRF) Study project (aka The Beaufort County Utility Partnership). Beaufort County wishes to explore how shared resources may build a more viable Beaufort County through a feasibility study with the partnership of the county, Washington, Aurora, Bath, Belhaven, Chocowinity, and Washington Park. This study will include both water and sewer systems for participating local governments. This project was funded through the NC Division of Water Infrastructure’s MRF grant. A copy of the funded grant application and the approved scope of work are attached to this RFQ.
