Baum Road Improvements

Description

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified vendor for removal of existing box culvert and associated headwalls, construction of a new box culvert and associated amenities, guardrail construction, side drain construction, roadway construction, roadway resurfacing, and all other construction indicated on the plans.The proposed project is located in Section 23 & 24, Township 1 North, Range 2 East, in Leon County, Florida.  The project limits are within the Baum Road right of way located 2,500 feet north of Buck Lake Road as indicated in the construction plans.Prime Contractor shall possess current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the Drainage and Flexible Paving work class. The pre-qualifications shall be current and valid at the time of the bid submittal. This project is anticipated to take 180 calendar days to perform. the complete documents include a series of attachments which are listed in the Specifications of the solicitation.Any Prime Contractor who submits a bid with the intent to use a Sub-Contractor who possesses the work class pre-qualifications MUST identify the Sub-Contractor and submit the Sub-Contractors current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the Drainage and Flexible Paving work class by the Proposal Submission Deadline to be considered responsive to this bid solicitation.Mandatory On-Site Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 9:00am at at the Purchasing Division at 1800-3 North Blair Stone Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308. Attendance is mandatory to be eligible for award.
