The intent is to purchase transit bus and Fire apparatus batteries on an as needed basis for the Santa Monica Department of Transportation (SMDOT) and Fire Department. Vendor to deliver new and unused batteries, including pick-up / disposal of used batteries and process warranties per Original Equipment Manufacturer warranty guidelines. Vendor shall be able to provide battery maintenance training specific to battery manufacturer recommendations. Training to include, but not be limited to, warranty procedures, storage, handling, testing, charging, preventative maintenance and installation.
