The contractor shall use the Siemens Apogee System. No other manufacturer shall be accepted. This item is being sole sourced per Public Contract Code Section 3400, subdivision (b) (2) to match equipment in use at the project either completed or in the course of completion.B. Siemens Industry, Inc. – (714) 227-5140 – Doug PittardC. No substitutions shall be accepted. No known equal. OFFICIAL RESPONSES Controls shall be Carrier I Vu to match existing control system. Plans show existing controls to be reused. Tony Ramirez DCGA Engineers Clarification:Next Level EMS is an Authorized Siemens Dealer. We are authorized to install Desigo CC which is the latest software Siemens has available, both Siemens Branch and Next Level are authorized to install Siemens Desigo CC. Next Level can even integrate into legacy Siemens Insight if thats a requirement. By allowing Next Level to provide Siemens controls this would allow competitive bidding per public contracting code. Please confirm if Next Level EMS is approved to bid this project utilizing Siemens controls.
