ANDREW CIRCLE ARCHITECT Newton Local School District Athletic Improvements Project RFQ / RFP 201 S Long St Pleasant Hill OH 45359 09/24/26 Addendum 1 ANDREW CIRCLE A. The following items are revisions to the Newton Local School District Athletic Improvements Project RFQ / RFP document issued September 2, 2026. ARCHITECT B. Proposers are hereby notified that they shall make any necessary adjustments to their qualifications and proposals as a result of this Addendum. It will be construed that each bidder’s proposal is submitted with full knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein. No changes to the RFQ / RFP or any attachments. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION: 1. Please confirm that the mandatory pre-proposal meeting requirement is met if one representative of the Design / Build team was present. (Designer or Builder). A: A Prime member of the D/B team should have been present at the pre-proposal meeting. Any subconsultants or subcontractors were not required to be present. 2. Please confirm that design criteria documents (Specifically for the Building) will be available / shared with the winning design build team to advance design to CD Docs and Permitting and GMP. A: Yes, the design criteria documents will be shared with the successful D/B team. 3. Specification for turf included in the RFP may be a turf system specific to one turf provider. Confirm intent is to have performance spec to allow competitive bidding for high school level softball turf system and not sole sourced from one synthetic turf provider based on the RFP specifications. A. Intent is for the successful D/B team to provide a performance spec that will allow for competitive bidding during the GMP process. 4. Is there existing Telecommunication equipment at the Soccer field to feed the requested camera (page 25 item 8j)? A. Yes, there is an existing security camera at the soccer field. The new camera can be fed from this location. 5. If there is not existing telecommunication equipment, would telecommunication equipment be requested or would a fiber connection back to a telecommunication room within the school be sufficient? A. N/A. See answer to question 4. 6. If a fiber connection is sufficient, is there an existing pathway from the school to a handhole near the new building location? A: N/A. See answer to question 4.
