ARJWS serves a population of approximately 210,000 through 13 member districts. Based on current capital and maintenance needs, ARJWS is seeking bids for refurbishing and maintaining its finished water storage tanks. The storage and transmission system is comprised of 3 Ground Storage Tanks and 3 Elevated Tanks. There is a 4th, newly constructed ground storage tank that was just completed in April of 2026 (Clemson Booster GST 2), and it will not be included in the maintenance bid. The ground storage tanks will be bid as additive alternates. *** A Pre-Bid, On-site meeting MUST be attended by all potential bidders and a representative of the coating manufacturer Tnemec (TSE).*** All of the tanks will be made accessible for climbing, inspecting, and reviewing the condition of the existing coating. Most of the tanks in the system will require a full removal of the existing coating system back to bare metal and/or concrete due to the age of the existing coating, thickness, adhesion, and compatibility to apply the products specified in this bid package. This can be reviewed and discussed during the on-site meeting for clarification. The pre-bid onsite meeting will be hosted for two days to allow each contractor enough time to access each tank. These dates will be 6/10/26 and 6/11/26.
