Architectural & Engineering Services Relative to Design of Parking Deck Facility

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALMIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT Sealed proposals, addressed to the Supervisor of Purchases, City of Middletown, Room 112, Municipal Building, Middletown, Connecticut, 06457 will be received until Friday, October, 16, 2026 by 3:00 PM for the following: RFP #2026-016ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATIVE TODESIGN OF PARKING DECK FACILITYCITY OF MIDDLETOWN The City of Middletown is seeking to construct a two-level parking facility in its downtown area as part of its Melilli Plaza North parking lot. The ground level of the parking facility would utilize the existing surface parking lot.  The project will be funded using City bond funds. The City is requesting proposals from State of Connecticut licensed architectural and engineering design teams to develop concept, design and construction documents.  The project will be facilitated through the City’s Department of Economic and Community Development. Proposal documents may be obtained at the Purchasing Office, Room 112, Municipal Building, 245 DeKoven Drive, Middletown, CT 06457, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.  All questions concerning this proposal should be directed to the Office of the Supervisor of Purchases, at (860) 638-4895.  Proposal Documents will be mailed to interested parties upon request or may be downloaded directly from www.middletownct.gov. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 10:00 am. The mandatory pre-bid will be held on-site at the Melilli North Lot along Washington St, gathering location will be at the Parking Kiosk located across from Main St Market. Bidders are advised that attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory to be considered. The City of Middletown reserves the right to waive any defect in any proposal and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof.  Proposals, amendments to or withdrawals of proposals received after the time set for the receipt of proposals will not be considered.
