The City of Apopka has proposed a borrow pit at 3080 Snowden Rd. The City intends to enter into an agreement with the qualified Contractor that proposes the best value. The awarded Contractor may excavate any additional and available site locations at the same spoil material CY price for up to one year. The existing Apopka Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) effluent sprayfields impacted by this proposed excavation will be removed from service. This area will eventually be additional lined storage ponds.
