Apalachee Regional Park Entrance and Other Miscellaneous Improvements Project

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified Licensed General Contractor to perform the construction of entry signs and roadway enhancements.The scope of work to be performed under this unit price bid will include:construction of a signature entry and two new entrance signs with associated landscaping and irrigationmilling and resurfacing of approximately 2200 LF of existing asphalt roadway along the main entrance roadwayall associated clearing, erosion control, earthwork, fill material, paving, grading, drainage, utilities, electrical, landscaping, signage, and installation of all miscellaneous appurtenances noted in the plans and specificationsThe project also includes construction of a Kayak Launch and Boardwalk adjacent to a water feature on the western side of the parcel. The launch will also have supporting parking infrastructure.The proposed work is located at 7550 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311 approximately 5.0 miles east of the intersection of US 319 (Capital Circle SE) and US 27 (Apalachee Parkway), located in:County: Leon Section: 4,5,8 Township: 1S Range: 2EAt this time the permits are being secured. Permits will be transmitted to the vendors as soon as they are available but before the Notice to Proceed is issued.
