The City of St. Augustine is soliciting competitive, sealed bids from experienced and licensed contractors for tree maintenance services at various City properties including parks, retention areas, rights-of-way and other areas. Services include trimming, pruning, removal, stump grinding, stump removal, clean up and disposal of trees and debris, technical assistance, and emergency response. All work is located within the incorporated City limits of St. Augustine, Florida.The chosen contractor will handle both scheduled and on-call tree services, especially after severe weather. Tasks may include removing trees and branches, raising canopies, clearing vegetation near power lines and buildings, hauling debris, and cleaning up sites, all while following local, state, and federal rules. The City looks for vendors who are professional, reliable, and skilled in tree care, with the right licenses, insurance, and compliance with ANSI A300 standards. We want a partner who puts safety, quick response, and quality work first, so our City stays safe, accessible, and attractive all year.
