The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners, through the Facilities Management department, is seeking bids for Annual Pest Control Services. Qualified contractors are invited to submit proposals for consideration.Alachua County maintains approximately eighty (80) buildings of varying age and condition throughout the County. Given this diverse portfolio, there is a continuous need for comprehensive pest control services to safeguard the safety and functionality of these facilities. Common pests found in our buildings include ants, cockroaches, rodents, spiders, flies, bees, and wasps.The scope of work encompasses pest inspections, treatment of identified infestations using safe and effective methods, monitoring of pest activity levels, and implementation of prevention measures. Contractors should be prepared to provide these services monthly and as needed for each location. Each location should include both interior and exterior treatments.The award will be based on a standard monthly fee for services, estimated to not exceed $50,000 per year.We encourage contractors to review the full bid document for any additional requirements or qualifications.
