Palmdale Water District (PWD) is seeking bids for the construction of approximately 1,763 linear feet of 12" CL350 DCML ductile iron pipe (D.I.P.), 45 linear feet of 12" CL350 DCML HDSS restrained ductile iron pipe, 10 linear feet of 6" CL350 DCML ductile iron pipe, 45 linear feet of 4" CL350 DCML ductile iron pipe, 11 linear feet of 10GA CML steel pipe, 40 LF of 24" dry-bored 7/16" smooth steel casing pipe, 12" x 4" pressure reducing valve and concrete vault, 4" large meter and concrete vault, and all appurtenances as specified on the plans per PWD Standard Specifications and Details. The 12" (D.I.P.) will be extending water main at the intersection of Aspern Street and Sierra Hills Lane and connecting to Sierra Highway. See Attachments details.This project is funded by the Urgent Drinking Water Needs Grant from the California State Water Resources Control Board.  The funding requires completion of construction by October 2027 and Water Quality Sampling results by September 2027. As a condition of this funding, the successful bidder shall comply with all applicable grant agency requirements. An executed copy of the grant agreement can be found in the Attachments.
