Nature of Project The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the “County”) will accept sealed competitive proposals for Alcohol And Controlled Substances & Specimen Testing Program In accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared by the County. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for providing assistance in the development and implementation of an alcohol and controlled substances testing program (herein referred to as “the program”) for approximately 30 drivers employed by the County who operate commercial motor vehicles and are subject to testing for alcohol misuse and controlled substances use under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) testing program rules (“Clearinghouse”, 49 CFR Part 382, Subpart B).
