ADDENDUM NO. 1 Alhambra High School Building J HVAC Replacement Project Martinez Unified School District Martinez, California December 4, 2025 This addendum shall supersede all previously issued specifications, addenda, and drawings wherein this addendum contradicts previously issued documents. All other conditions remain unchanged. The following changes, modifications, corrections, clarifications, and / or additions as set forth herein shall apply to the above documents and shall be made a part thereof and shall be subject to all the requirements thereof as though originally specified and / or shown. GENERAL 1.01 Building J will undergo a flooring replacement project that will occur concurrently with the HVAC replacement project. The awarded HVAC prime contractor shall coordinate schedules and sequencing with the flooring contractor to ensure that environmental conditions, including but not limited to temperature and humidity, are established and fully operational prior to the installation of new flooring. Sequencing shall align HVAC completion, climate stabilization, and flooring installation activities to ensure proper execution of the work. 1.02 Work onsite must be scheduled to begin after the last day of school at Alhambra High School, plus five (5) business days of owner float reserved for the exclusive use of the District. Accordingly, the earliest allowable start date for onsite work shall be June 11, 2026, in accordance with Document 00 52 13 Agreement. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS 1.05 How much is the Engineering Estimate of construction cost? The Engineering Estimate of construction cost is provided in the range of $2,200,000 and $2,400,000. 1.06 What is the exit breaker size of the existing fan coil in each classroom (First Floor)? The existing fan coils in each first-floor classroom is served by a 15A, 3-pole circuit breaker. 1.07 What company is in charge of your HVAC building J control systems? The HVAC control system in Building J is Alerton Controls, with Syserco serving as the service representative. 1.08 Will there be any summer school held on the Alhambra High School Campus? No, there will be no in-person summer school held on the Alhambra High School campus.
