CHOCTAW COUNTY SCHOOLS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/AFTER-SCHOOL & SUMMER SCHOOL TUTORING BID REQUEST #24-008 General Discussion Regarding Bid Request #24-008 AFTER-SCHOOL & SUMMER SCHOOL TUTORING The Choctaw County Board of Education is requesting bids to establish a contract for an after-school and summer school tutoring program. In an effort to enhance the learning experience and contribute to students’ knowledge and comply with the Alabama Literacy Act and Alabama Numeracy Act, Choctaw County Schools will implement an after-school and summer school tutoring program at each of its elementary schools (Choctaw County Elementary School and Southern Choctaw Elementary School). The program will be available for students in Kindegarten-6th Grades. The mission of Choctaw County Schools is to equip and inspire all learners to reach their highest potential The bid shall only be awarded to a responsive and responsible bidder. A responsible bidder must meet the state of Alabama’s E-Verify requirement. A responsive bidder is one who has met the specifications outlined in this document. A responsible bidder is one who can meet deadlines and provide requested specifications. A responsible bidder will provide qualifications. The Choctaw County Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids. The Board’s award decision is final and binding on all bidders. Submission of a bid acknowledges bidder acceptance of these preconditions.
