Troup County Board of Commissioners Addenda 1 Aerial Truck Fire Apparatus 1. Will the winning bidder be providing any inspection trips to the factory? Such as preconstruction, mid-point and final inspection. ANSWER Page 83 Three (3) trips for a maximum of 4 employees, each trip, from the Troup County Board of Commissioners will be furnished by the firm that is awarded the bid. These trips will include Airfare, Meals and Lodging. 1. Pre-build conference 2. Mid-point Inspection 3. Final Inspection. Dealer Supplied Equipment The following equipment shall be supplied with and installed on the completed apparatus. All brackets shall be supplied for every piece of equipment and installed per the fire department’s direction. Within five (5) days of returning from the final inspection, the successful bidder will host four (4) members of Troup County Fire at the local dealership for the direction of equipment mounting. The bidder will cover expenses for four (4) for lodging for one (1) night and meals for two days. It is required that the dealership sales representative and service manager be on hand for both days of this meeting. 2. Page 73 of the Bid asks for an aerial control at the pump operator’s panel and a wireless aerial control system. Are both of these necessary? ANSWER Yes. Both are necessary.
