ADVERTISEMENT Request For Proposals – ENGINEERING DESIGN, PERMITTING & BID PHASE SERVICES – MD-611 SHARED USE PATH Worcester County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors for professional engineering design, permitting and bid phase services for first phase of a shared use path along the east side of MD 611 in conformity with the requirements contained in the Proposal Documents. Proposal Documents for the above referenced project may be obtained from the Worcester County Commissioner’s Office by either e-mailing the Procurement Officer at purchasing@worcestermd.gov , via the County’s on-line bid board, or through eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) online at https://emma.maryland.gov. Vendors are responsible for checking the County website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Worcester County is not responsible for the content of any Proposal Document received through any third-party bid service. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Proposal Documents. A pre-proposal meeting will be held on July 8, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the Worcester County Public Works Administration Building at 6113 Timmons Road, Snow Hill, MD. There is also an option for a virtual meeting at the same date & time with the available web link in the proposal documents. All questions concerning this RFP must be submitted via no later than July 16, 2026, at noon. Sealed Proposal Documents are due no later than July 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and will be opened and only vendor names will be read aloud in the Office of the County Commissioners, Worcester County Government Center – Room 1103, One West Market Street, Snow Hill, Maryland 21863. Late Proposal Documents cannot be accepted. Envelopes shall be marked "RFP – MD-611 Shared Use Path” in the lower left-hand corner. Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of this solicitation.
