ADVERTISEMENT Request For Proposals – Professional Engineering Services – Ocean Pines Force Main Replacement PS N to PS L Worcester County is seeking Professional Engineering Services for the design, permitting, bid phase, and construction administration support related to the replacement of an existing 6-inch PVC force main from Pump Station N to Pump Station L in Ocean Pines. This main, approximately 5,600 ft in length, has experienced repeated failures and is being replaced to restore reliable system performance. Proposal Documents for the above referenced project may be obtained from the Worcester County Commissioner’s Office by either e-mailing the Procurement Officer at purchasing@worcestermd.gov , or via the County’s on-line bid board. Vendors are responsible for checking the County website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Worcester County is not responsible for the content of any Proposal Document received through any third-party bid service. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed Proposal Documents. A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on August 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean Pines WWTP Ops Building at 1000 Shore Lane, Berlin, MD 21811. The last date/time to submit questions for clarification will be noon on August 19, 2026. Sealed Proposal Documents are due no later than September 3, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. and will be opened and only vendor names will be read aloud in the Office of the County Commissioners, Worcester County Government Center – Room 1103, One West Market Street, Snow Hill, MD 21863. Late Proposal Documents cannot be accepted. Envelopes shall be marked "RFP 27-WWW-02 Ocean Pines Force Main Replacement” in the lower left-hand corner. Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of this solicitation.
