Specifically, construction of a waterline extension from the intersection of Davidson River Road and Old Hendersonville Hwy to approximately 7,700 LF east. Construction of a pump station and force main from a location on Old Hendersonville Hwy towards an existing manhole within the City of Brevard. Engineering services will be in compliance with EDA funding requirements. A copy of the RFQ with detailed specifications, information, and selection criteria may be obtained, beginning March 18, 2026 on the Transylvania County website at https://www.transylvaniacounty.org/request-for-proposals-bids or by request from Jennifer Galloway at the Transylvania County Finance Department, 101 South Broad Street, Brevard, NC 28712, at jennifer.galloway@transylvaniacounty.org, or at 828-884-3104. Statement of Qualifications must be received by Jennifer Galloway at the address shown above no later than 4:00 PM EST, April 8, 2026. Per NCGS 143-129.8 proposals shall remain confidential until the contract is awarded; therefore, there will not be a public bid opening. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
