ADVERTISEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AT RISK PROPOSALS CITY OF ANDERSON NEW FIRE STATION 4 ANDERSON, SOUTH CAROLINA The City of Anderson desires to retain the services of a professional Construction At Risk (CMAR) firm for the management, under a construction management/contractor at-risk format, for the new Fire Station 4 at the corner of East-West Parkway and Beltline Connector in Anderson, South Carolina. The written requirements contained in this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall not be changed or superseded except by written addenda from Craig Gaulden Davis | PBK (CGD|PBK). Verbal communication is not considered official. Failure to comply with the written requirements for this RFP may result in disqualification of the submittal by the City of Anderson. Proposal shall be submitted as a PDF document(s) and emailed to John D. Hansen, AIA at jhansen@cgdarch.com no later than 5 p.m. EDT July 14, 2026. The subject line of the email shall state the submitting firm’s name, City of Anderson – New Fire Sation 4, and conclude with proposal. The email should include the point of contract for the firm. Any proposals received after the above time and date will not be accepted. Following review of the proposals, the City will select the three (3) highest qualifying Professional Construction At Risk (CMAR) firms for interviews to be conducted on July 23, 2026. Firms will be notified by noon EDT on July 17, 2026, of whether they have been selected to participate in an interview. The City of Anderson reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award contracts based on the highest and best interest of the City. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for June 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. EDT, at the City of Anderson – Economic Development Office at 102 N Murray Ave, Anderson, SC 29625. Proposals for the project will only be accepted by CMAR firms in attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference. Requests for information may be submitted until 5 p.m. EDT on Monday, July 6, 2026, to John D. Hansen, AIA with CGD | PBK via eMail at jhansen@cgdarch.com.
