ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF ANDERSON ANDERSON, SC 29624 MAIN STREET RESURFACING General Notice City of Anderson (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Main Street Resurfacing Owner’s Project No.: 125294 Engineer’s Project No.: 013752.10 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City of Anderson located at 401 South Main Street Anderson, SC 29624, until Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Mailed bids must be submitted to: 401 South Main Street Anderson, SC 29624 Attn: Lacrecia Bilbrey. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Main Street Resurfacing The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following Work: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • All work shall be performed in accordance with the South Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Drawings for Road Construction (Latest Edition), SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction (Latest Edition), SCDOT Supplemental Specifications for Highway Construction (Latest Edition), and the MUTCD 11th Edition unless otherwise indicated in the Construction Documents. Milling, demolition, removal and disposal of approximately 17,250 square yards of existing pavement and installation of new pavement. o Approximately 42 linear feet of the work concerns milling, demolition, removal, disposal of existing bridge pavement and installation of new pavement. o Approximately 3,450 square yards of full depth patching Removal, storage, and (re) construction of bridge roadway median with original materials. Protection of existing driveways, manhole covers, valve boxes, brick crosswalks, curbs, structures, bridge components, etc. from damage during demolition/removal/construction. Bridge deck waterproofing of the top of cored slab and box beam units prior to placement of an asphalt overlay. Existing utility locates and protection of existing utilities. Pavement markings, to include temporary, permanent, and accessibility. Milling demolition and removal of existing pavement as needed and installation of new pavement. Maintain access to residences and businesses to the maximum extent possible. Coordination with property owners. Maintenance of traffic (MOT) Installation and continued maintenance of erosion control measures/devices throughout the contract times. Compliance with permitting and project approval requirements. All other appurtenant work.
