ADDENDUM NUMBER TWO SANTEE SCHOOL DISTRICT BID #2024-075-001, ELECTRIC VEHICLE SUPPLY EQUIPMENT (EVSE) INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT SANTEE SCHOOL DISTRICT TRANSPORTION YARD DATE: January 30, 2024 General - All project documents including contract documents, drawings, and specifica�ons, shall remain unchanged with the excep�on of those elements added, revised, deleted, or clarified by this addendum. Acknowledge receipt of Addendum Number Two in the appropriate place provided on the Bid Form Item No. 1 Addendum Two Can you specify details for the hand-rated pull box? A) Minimum pull box sizing is as required by CEC. For pull box requirements, please refer to Specifica�on Sec�on 26000 General Electric. Item No. 2 Addendum Two What is feeding the charge management system (CMS) box? A) Each charging sta�on requires a dedicated, hard-wired CAT6 connec�on to the CMS box. CMS box will be provided by the District through selected CMS provider (InCharge). Please refer to the Design Drawings, Specifica�ons, and CMS provider’s installa�on manual for more detail. Item No. 3 Can you specify the K-Rail details for communica�on conduits? Addendum Two A) Please refer to the Design Drawings and Specifica�ons. Addi�onal guidance on communica�on conduits that is not explicitly included in the Design Drawings and Specifica�on would likely fall under construc�on means and methods for the selected vendor and may be discussed with the District a�er bid opening. Item No. 4 Addendum Two For value engineering purposes, can the switchgear be relocated next to the exis�ng SDG&E pole in the parking lot? A) The switchgear loca�on was determined in coordina�on with SDG&E. Please provide a bid submission that conforms with the approved Design Drawings. January 30, 2024 Page 1 of 2 Item No. 5 Addendum Two For value engineering purposes and due to minimal access to pathways from the proposed loca�on of the switchgear, would it be possible to add two (2) 600A panel boards in the parking lot closer to the EV charging sta�ons? A) Please provide a bid submission that conforms with the approved Design Drawings. The District may consider value engineering proposals from the selected vendor a�er bid opening.
