Utility Relocation Allowance: 1. The Bid Schedule includes an allowance to cover the cost of relocating existing utilities that conflict with the proposed sewer construction. The costs for such relocation shall be direct charges from the utility companies or entities for relocating the existing utilities without Contractor markup. 2. The Contractor shall coordinate with the respective utility companies or entities to ensure that the relocation does not delay construction. 3. Answer No. 1: On Sheet C-26, MH 8A is a new manhole. The bid quantity has been revised to include MH 8A. Bid Item 53 reflects the updated quantity. See Attachment B. Question No. 2.: Sheet C-25. There is no data regarding the new manhole adjacent to MH#5. It is not included in the bid quantity. Answer No. 2: Sheet C-25R, the bid quantity for manholes has been updated to include MH 5A. Bid Item 53 reflects the updated quantity. See Attachment A. Question No. 3: Sheets C-25R and C-26. Sheets are calling for existing manholes to be abandoned and filled in. There is no bid item for this work.
