Town of Surfside RFP 2023-04 Design Services for the Surfside Memorial Addendum No. 3 Date Issued: August 23, 2023 To All Respondents: Respondents for the above-referenced RFP shall take note of the following changes, additions, deletions or clarifications to RFP No. 2023-04, which in accordance with the RFP documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or described otherwise in the RFP. THE FOLLOWING CLARIFICATION IS PROVIDED: The Town would like to clarify the requirement and intent in requesting "Design Concept(s)" as part of this RFP. The Town seeks to gather the firm's visionary ideas and conceptual approach for the project, rather than detailed design schematics or official drawings. This category entails high-level visuals and descriptions that illustrate potential elements that could possibly be incorporated into the future design. These elements could be inspired by similar projects, comparable timelines, and budget considerations the firm has encountered previously. It's essential to emphasize that the Town is not seeking fully developed project designs at this stage. Instead, the Town is interested in understanding each firm's creative and conceptual approach to the project, specifically how each firm envisions integrating these elements while considering the sensitivities surrounding the victims and survivors of the collapse. The Town is not seeking or soliciting official project designs through this RFP. Rather, the Town seeks innovative design concepts that highlight each firm's expertise, qualifications, and professional direction of thought.
