Shaffer Commissioner, District 3 County Manager August 28, 2025 SANTA FE COUNTY RFP No. 2026-0034-HR EMPLOYEE VISION INSURANCE ADDENDUM NO. 2 Dear Proponents, This addendum is issued to reflect the following immediately. It shall be the responsibility of interested Offerors to adhere to any changes or revisions to the RFP as identified in Addendum No. 2. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files. ______________________________________________________________________________ Below is the County’s response to questions received 1. Throughout the RFP there is mention of Performance Guarantees being a requirement, is that a deal breaker for the County? Response: The County would prefer to work with a vision carrier that can provide Performance Guarantees. 2. Within the Minimum Requirements tab of the Questionnaire, there is mention of ASO fees. Please confirm the vision plan is fully insured today and that you are requesting a fully insured proposal. Response: ASO fees were mentioned in error. Please disregard. The County is requesting fully insured vision insurance. 3. Please confirm that we can PDF the Excel files within our redacted copy. We are not able to redact file formats other than PDF. Response: Carriers must submit unredacted Excel files. Redacted PDF versions are allowed, but we must receive unredacted Excel files. 102 Grant Avenue · P.O. Response: There are no issues or complaints with the current carrier. The County simply wants to be competitive in the employee benefits market. 5. What is the main goal of this RFP? Response: We are exploring any/all avenues to help drive down the cost of health insurance with additional value-added services for our employees while still ensuring a quality offering. 6. With the Dropbox link, do we have the ability to upload two files? One original copy and one redacted copy? Response: Yes. Multiple files can be uploaded to the Dropbox. 7. On page 22 of the RFP document where the requirements of the Letter of Transmittal are listed, items e. and h.
