Harnett County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center New Generator ADDENDUM NO. 1 DATE: June 16, 2026 PROJECT: Harnett County Sheriff’s Office & Detention Center Generator OWNER: Harnett County ENGINEER: Dewberry Engineers Inc. 2610 Wycliff Road, Suite 410, Raleigh, NC 27607 This Addendum, applicable to the work designated herein, shall be understood to be and is an Addendum to the contract documents and, as such, shall be become a part of and included in the contract. 1. Please see attached May 28, 2026 Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes. The Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes shall become part of the contract documents. 2. Please use the attached Bid Bond Form. 3. Please find the following responses to questions: 1. Ductbank details for A1 Show 36” minimum below grade but note (2) E-101 states shall be no less then 5’. Please clarify a. Dewberry Response: Keynotes #2 should be closer to crossing/intersection of ductbanks A1 and B1. This was intended to indicate that the A1 ductbanks need to be deeper than 36” BFG to pass under the B1 ductbank. After crossing, the A1 ductbanks can slope back up to the handholes/switchgear. Alternately, the B1 ductbank could be provided at a lower elevation, allowing for no sloping of the A1 ductbanks. 2. Does B2 Ductbank run all the way under New ECB, New ATS and new SWBD, if so, why does the riser show 6 – 3” conduits instead of the 8-4” shown on ductbank detail. Please clarify a. Dewberry Response: Multiple sections of ductbank type B2 will be provided: from the new handhole (intercepting the existing ductbank) to the new ECB, from the new ECB to the new ATS; from the new ATS to the new switchboard; and from the new switchboard to the handhole, intercepting the existing ductbank. Provide (8) 4” conduits, (6) for conductors, (2) for spare. 3. On the Riser E-902 ECB to ATS & ATS OSDP & OSDP to (2) chillers do not show a ground. Please clarify a. Dewberry Response: Provide 1/0G CU ground, as units are provided w/ 800A OCPDs 4. Where is TSLR1 Transformer to be located? It is not shown on the new site plan. Please clarify a. Dewberry Response: T-SLR1 is to be provided as part of the generator package, located within the enclosure. 5. There are no details on the platform and stairs for the Generator.
