Town of Surfside ITB 2024-01 Abbott Avenue Stormwater Improvements Project Addendum No. 1 Date Issued: April 22, 2024 To All Proposers: Proposers for the above-referenced ITB shall take note of the following changes, additions, deletions or clarifications to ITB No. 2024-01, which in accordance with the ITB Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or described otherwise in the ITB. THE FOLLOWING CHANGES, ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, RESPONSES AND CLARIFICATIONS TO ITB NO. 2024-01 ARE PROVIDED BY THE TOWN BELOW: 1. Question Received: What is the budget for the subject solicitation? Town Response: The Town of Surfside is actively seeking bids to successfully execute this critical infrastructure project. The budget will be determined based on the lowest responsive bid received. 2. Question Received: Is there an Engineers Estimated Cost? Town Response: Please refer to page 404 out of 1033 of the ITB-2024-01 PDF available online. 3. Question Received: Is there a Self-Performance requirement? Town Response: Please review the sample construction contract located within Attachment C. For any scope of work that the Contractor will utilize a subcontractor, the Contractor may only retain or utilize the services of the particular subcontractor with the prior written approval of the Town Manager, which approval may be granted or withheld in the Town Manager’s sole and absolute discretion. The Contractor shall provide at least fourteen (14) days’ notice to the Town Manager and the Project Consultant of its intent to retain or utilize a subcontractor. 4. Question Received: Is there a DBE/SBE/CBE requirement? Town Response: No 5. Question Received: What is the warranty/guarantee requirement? 1 Town Response: Please review all bid documents.
