BID FORM, Section V – Acknowledgment of Addenda Issuance: It is the responsibility of the Bidder to verify that they have received all addenda in respect to the bid. It is recommended that the Bidder contact Calhoun’s project engineering tech (who is handling this bid) no later than 48 hours before the bid time to confirm the total number of addenda issued. Tod Lankford has been assigned the project engineering tech role and can be reached at (706) 602‐6081 (office). It is the Bidder’s responsibility to mark, where noted in the bid form, acknowledgement of each addendum issued including addendum number and date. Failure to acknowledge all addenda in the bid form could constitute an incomplete and non‐conforming bid which might not be read aloud. 2. BID FORM, Section V – Base Bid Spreadsheet: Questions about the parts list have been submitted by RFI. The following clarifications are intended to clear‐up any confusion, especially concerning approved alternatives. Unless noted otherwise, the vendor should not deviate from the products / manufactures listed. Bidder to use original bid form. Line item #2: The U.S. Pipe mechanical restrained was listed to indicate product type, so that locking gaskets could not be substituted. However, the City will accept any domestic pipe of equivalent quality. Therefore, McWane and American are considered acceptable too. Line Item #20: Fire hydrants to have 4’ bury depth. Line Item #25: 1” curb stop shall be full port. Line Item #26: ¾” curb stop shall be full port. Line Item #29: The part number preciously provided was for ¾”. The actual part number for the 1” meter setter is 724‐410WDQD 44X992. Line Item #35: Incorrect part previously provided. Meter boxes and lids shall be cast iron. Sigma MB382T. Line Items #58, 59, and 62: EBAA Megalug Series 1100. No substitutions. Line Items #60 and 63: EBAA Series 2000PV. No substitutions. Line Item #61: EBAA Series 2000SV. No substitutions.
