ADDENDUM NO. 1 WATER WELL REHABILITATION CITY OF OPELOUSAS, LA LDH LOAN NO. 1; MGA PROJECT W309-3 APRIL 8, 2025 TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The following changes/additions have been made to the above referenced project: 1. CONSTRUCTION PLANS: a. The notes on Plan Sheet 3 have been revised to eliminate the notes regarding acidizing the well. Attached is a Revised Plan Sheet 3 showing the revised/updated notes. b. A note has been added on Plan Sheet 4 to require the installation of a solenoid valve on the pre-lubrication line and verify operation. c. Revisions to Plan Sheet 6 have been made to correct the well discharge piping size from 12” to 14”. Also, attached is a recent picture showing that a new 14” valve and 14” x 12” tee have been installed on the existing discharge piping. The contractor may utilize these items in determining the cost of the discharge piping replacement. d. The well discharge piping plan on Plan Sheet 6 calls for the existing meter to be re-installed. Attached is a picture showing an ultrasonic meter that has recently been installed on the discharge piping. This exiting meter is to be re-installed. e.
