NORTH POOL RFI # 55 56 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 Sheet Question / Clarification Architect / Engineer response Response by RFI Response to question #32 says that the existing shades to remain as part of the base bid, but Alternate #2 is a deductive alterante and states to "remove shade structures from pool deck (price individually). This is confusing, so please clarify what should be included for alternate #2 and how it relates to the base bid. Please see revised Bid Schedule form for the North Pool. Alternate #2 is no longer used. Existing shades are to remain in base bid. According to the geotechnical report it states "The new mechanical room is being recommended to have a complete removal/replacement of soil (or if the owner wishes to accept higher risk), overex/recompact the subgrade." Please confirm that we will need to overexcavate and recompact and NOT export/import new fill? Please follow the geotech report recommendation for complete removal/replacement of soil at the new mechanical building. Overexcavate and recompact is not recommended. BRS BRS
