The original Proposal Documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Proposal Documents. Vendors will take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting a Proposal and shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Proposal Documents. Item Description 3.0 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The following questions and answers are provided as a matter of information to clarify issues raised about the Proposal Documents. Item Questions and Answers 1. We are requesting approval to utilize KYPipe 2026 hydraulic modeling software for this project. KYPipe models can be exported to EPANET (.INP) file format, which can be imported into other hydraulic modeling platforms, including OpenFlows WaterCAD. However, our team does not maintain an OpenFlows WaterCAD license, our ability to perform full QA/QC within the WaterCAD environment would be limited. The County will permit the use of KYPIPE 2026 for hydraulic model development; however, the final model deliverable shall be provided in a format compatible with Bentley WaterCAD, which will serve as the County’s long-term modeling platform. Proposers are advised that direct interoperability between these platforms is not supported. Conversion of the model will therefore require export to an intermediate format (e.g., EPANET *.INP) suitable for future import into WaterCAD. The Consultant shall be responsible for ensuring that all transferable model components, including system geometry and core hydraulic data (e.g., pipes, nodes, demands, tanks, and standard pump and valve attributes), are accurately developed and included in the delivered model files.
