QUESTIONS FOR BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT 52 ●​ The total cost proposal on page 58 has route counts, hours and miles that are not consistent with the information outlined throughout the RFP. Can you confirm that the total cost proposal route counts, hours and miles are not accurate? I am unable to confirm at this time, but we will consider this question during presentations. ●​ On page 20 of the Fleet size section of the RFP, the rfp requires 33 vehicles for the 16 routes? Or can some of the field trip vehicles be route buses? Also want to confirm the 4 type-20 vehicles? That is new. We have added an addendum letting biddies know that we anticipate 17 routes with 4 to 5 spares. We are also allowing companies to bid on type 20 vehicles for buildings to use and type 10 vehicles for both Foster and McKinney V routes. ●​ We are only running 16 routes, but the RFP is calling for 17 route buses plus 4 spares. Is that correct. Yes, in anticipation of what's to come with boundary changes. ●​ We don’t have excess hours, but the pricing shows 50,000 excess hours? There is not enough information in this question for us to understand what you are asking. ●​ Individualized, foster care, McKinney-Vento and zero period transportation routes, will be able to transport these routes in vans or sedans or will these require buses as well? Would we include that cost pricing in other on the proposed rate schedule or can we modify the document to include a more value-based rate fee as it is different than a bus and is often priced as an am route plus mileage and a pm route plus mileage? Yes. ●​ In Addendum 2, the district responded that they would allow contractors to bid with a 4-hour guarantee. Will the district be releasing new pricing pages that shows a 4-hour guarantee? No, that is not the structure of our current contract and we will not be adjusting it.
