Meeting Format overview Brief on-site orientation (~30 minutes) Identification of key issue areas by Forest Service staff (attachment & webmap) Independent site access encouraged following meeting 2. Site Access Guidance The Meadow Mountain Trail may be accessed without a gate key for general site review. Certain segments are gated but accessible by vehicle. Gate keys may be signed out at the Savage River State Forest Office, 127 Headquarters Ln, Grantsville, MD 21536 o Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Keys must be returned via drop box at the Forest Service office 3. Field Observations & Design Considerations Drainage & Existing Conditions) Forest Service staff identified multiple locations with existing drainage deficiencies. A map documenting these locations will be provided as an attachment to this addendum. Addressing drainage is a primary design priority. 4. Trail Expansion & Loop Opportunities: The primary focus remains improvement of existing trail segments. o Limited additions such as loops, reroutes, or parallel alignments may be considered where feasible. Any expansion will be: o Subject to Forest Service & Other DNR Agency review and approval o Evaluated for long-term maintenance feasibility Proposers are encouraged to identify strategic opportunities, but not assume large-scale expansion. 5.
