ADDENDUM #3 RFP 27-001 RIDLING FIELD RENOVATION PHASE 3 This addendum is being issued to address questions for RFP 27-001: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. HGB prepared a field survey for approximately half of the park. Do you want the remainder of the site field surveyed to locate fencing, scoreboards, structures, etc? (+/- 3 acres) Yes, we would need to have a plan to review that requires a survey. The RFP did not call for a tree replacement plan. Please verify that a tree survey and plan are not required? Tree replacement and a tree replacement plan is not required for this project. Is the building footprint shown in the RFP of adequate size or do you see it getting larger? The building schematic was reviewed by staff, and the dimensions will remain same as shown in the RFP. There are currently a set of steps leading from the upper-level parking to the main level where the multiuse building will be. The RFP calls for steps. Please verify that these are a separate set of steps than the existing one. The existing steps must be removed and new steps constructed with proper tread, distance and height. The new steps must have an approved railing. A continuous sidewalk from the top parking lot to the steps leading to the multi-use building. Do you expect the fields to be laser graded? Expectation is for a leveled area with no water puddling. A bid proposal may be submitted with and without laser grading by contractor. The RFP calls for steps from the multi-use bldg. to the lower-level parking. Does there need to be ADA sidewalk from the lower-level parking to the concession building? Yes, there must be a concrete sidewalk at least 9 (nine) feet in width from the end of the pavement shown on the new parking lot plan that leads to the building. Depending on the grade, steps may not be needed as long as ADA compliant. What is the desired ceiling material throughout the building? Durable, washable, non-absorbent material must be used for the multi-use building. Is a 8 ft wall height an accurate assumption? Yes, the building must have an 8-foot wall height for equipment access. This addendum should be signed and returned with your proposal.
