The original Bid Documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Bid Documents. Vendors will take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting a bid and shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Bid Documents. Item Questions and Answers There is an apparent conflict regarding the responsibility of material testing. Specification Section III, General Conditions indicates that testing will be performed by the County. Furthermore, C.5. states that the contractor shall be responsible to pay for all inspection costs required by any agency OTHER THAN the County. Section IV: Bid Specifications, under A. 1. Lists testing under our responsibility. 1 Do we need to cover third-party testing for compaction and concrete? All testing will be the responsibility of the selected contractor to ensure the project is completed accordingly. 2 Will building permits be waived for this project ? Building permits will not be waived. Only a permit from Worcester County is required. 3 4 Will a plat be provided to the awarded contractor? Yes, a plat can be provided to the awarded contractor. Is there a place onsite to lose any extra spoils from excavation? If so, approximately how far from the paved loop? There is a location that can be used for extra spoils from the project.
