The original Bid Documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Bid Documents. Vendors will take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting a bid and shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Bid Documents. Item Description 3.0 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The following questions and answers are provided as a matter of information to clarify issues raised about the Bid Documents. Item Questions and Answers Are there any pipes for aeration or other operations inside the tank area? RESPONSE: Yes, there are aeration lines on the outer zones of the tank. The interzone of the tank has an active mixer and 1 grinder pumps. 2 Are Prevailing Wages applicable in this Bid? RESPONSE: No prevailing wage 3 Can we get measurements of outside diameter and the diameter of the internal tank? RESPONSE: Attached is a drawing that shows the tank dimensions. 4 The IFB states that the volume of solids, grit, sand, and debris in FET 1 is unknown. Can the County provide any historical cleaning records, estimated sludge depths, previous quantities removed, or available survey data to assist bidders in estimating material quantities? RESPONSE: We do not have any records of the last cleaning available. 5 Are there any site restrictions regarding staging areas, equipment parking, truck routing, or stockpile locations? REPSONSE: The contractor will be required to work with the plant operators to manage access during the cleaning process. 6 Is the Notice to Proceed expected immediately after award, or is there a target project start date? RESPONSE: The project is expected to start in late October or November 2026. END OF ADDENDUM
