The original Bid Documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Bid Documents. Vendors will take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting a bid and shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Bid Documents. Item Questions and Answers Most municipal units with snowplow need a 20” Integral Frame Extension in front of the grille to mount snowplow components. Is this not on the bid? This is always added to the truck per body vendor specifications, not our bid specifications. 2 3 The rear suspension requested is a Reyco 79Kb multileaf 26,000, Generally on snow trucks with spreaders, we utilize a heavier 31K Vari Rate Springs with 4500lb aux multileaf springs for stronger capabilities? The bid specifications match our current trucks in the fleet and works well with our spreaders. The bid says Federal emission standards. Are you requesting this be Carb Compliant (Maryland is not a carb compliant state) or simply Federal EPA compliant? Federal EPA compliant 4 5 The bid requests Deluxe Package under Cab, and also Cab interior trim deluxe. I believe these are both referring to an outdated interior as it is now updated and considered “Classic.” As long as it meets or exceeds are bid specifications, “classic” is fine Do you desire any extended warranties especially on engine, aftertreatment and/or transmission? Historically we don’t go with extended warranties.
