The original Proposal Documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Proposal Documents. Vendors will take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting a Proposal and shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided in the Proposal Documents. Item Description 3.0 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The following questions and answers are provided as a matter of information to clarify issues raised about the Proposal Documents. Item Questions and Answers Some EPA documents state that polyethylene tubing is not recommended for any PFAS sampling. Our supplier has a statement that their tubing was a non-detect for all 40 PFAS compounds. Will sampling using 1 this tubing be acceptable? Approval for collection materials which are either different than those listed in the approved monitoring plan or not specifically called out, should be approved by MDE prior to use. At the in person pre bid meeting, it was mentioned that the current sampler was using a UTV and a trailer. Does Worcester County Provide the UTV and trailer, or is that something that should be provided to 2 easily access all sampling locations? Worcester County will provide the UTV and trailer with a driver should it be needed by the selected 3 4 5 Vendor. Are all groundwater wells 4” in diameter? Yes, all wells are 4" in diameter. Will field sampling still be able to occur without a Worcester County landfill representative being present as an escort? No, an escort is not required for all sampling events.
