November 6, 2023 ADDENDUM #1 – River Parishes Transit Authority (RPTA) 2023 Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Operation of the Public Transit Service in St. Charles and St. John the Baptist Parishes, Louisiana TO INTERESTED PUBLIC TRANSIT OPERATORS. (The following changes are effective for the entire RFP) A. Change in proposal due date and clarification of acceptable submittal methods. Proposals will be due by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 due to the office closure of Solutient for the Thanksgiving holidays of November 23, 2023 and November 24, 2023. The submittal shall be hand delivered or mailed and received by the due date. All other submittal requirements remain in place. B. Correction to Service hours Service coverage shall be 6 days a week: Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. C. Correction to Implementation Date and start of Performance Period The transit service under the contract contemplated by this RFP shall begin on or after February 1, 2024 and the anticipated start date of the Period of Performance is on or after February 1, 2024. D. Clarification of Transit System for which RFP is applicable This RFP is specifically for the Operation of the River Parishes Transit Authority (RPTA). E. Notice Advertisement Per L’Observateur, the scheduled advertisement of the Notice did not take place on October 18, 2023 and was advertised November 1, 2023. All other advertisements took place as scheduled.
