Are we to include so interior walls can be finished? • No, no need to worry about any mechanics between us and facilities, we will have everything rough in and ready 2- The only mention of insulation is the foam board under the steel to meet code and to finish the interior walls are we to include fiberglass batt? • Yes, I believe wall insulation has to be at least an R 19 3- During site visit millwork and countertops were discussed. No callout in specs. Are we to include? • yes, we need you to Provide and install file Cabinets and a countertop Just some kind of commercial grade not too concerned about style or color 4- Under #2 Construction there’s a spec for a 6x6x8 Open Below Eave Lean to with 3/12 pitch, steel ceiling. Site manager thought this was a misprint and not to be included • I’m not exactly sure what that is unless it is the small roof that comes to the entrance off the Scales 5- Should we include removal and disposal of existing sidewalk that is within the addition footprint • No, we will take care of all removal and replacement of sidewalks purchasing@garrettcountymd.gov - Phone 301-334-1995 – Fax 301-334-5000 6- For the 6’x6’ porch during the site visit we were told to include the porch roof only and once the new scales are installed the deck/stairs would be installed by others • yes, that is correct. We will install. 7- Who is responsible for permitting and plan review? • I will take care of permitting and plan reviews. 8- Could you clarify why the final inspection on this project requires a representative from the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club to approve? (page 2 of special terms and conditions).
