​ DDENDUM #1​ A ​Facilities Master Planning - Berkeley USD​ ​February 24, 2026​ ​ADDENDUM TO BID DOCUMENTS​ ​ he following clarifications are provided based on questions received or changes in District​ T ​requirements and must be added/considered when completing your submittal:​ ​ cknowledgement of receipt of this​​ADDENDUM​​is required​​in the bid form. Please clearly note​ A ​the addendum date and number.​ ​CLARIFICATIONS:​ ​1.​ ​The applicable form of agreement for this Facilities Master Plan engagement is​ ​attached to this Addendum and will serve as the basis for contract negotiations with​ ​the selected firm.​ ​QUESTIONS:​ ​1.​ ​Can the district please provide a list of schools and district sites with their respective​ ​campus square footage?​ ​a.​ ​School sites are listed on our website​​here.​ ​Square​​footage and all other pertinent​ ​information about the facilities is located in the Facilities Condition Assessment​ ​folders which will be provided to the consultant that is awarded the FMP​ ​Contract.​ ​2.​ ​Does the district use a CMMS platform? If so, which one?​ ​a.​ ​Yes, Brightly.​ ​3.​ ​Should any proprietary information be labeled in the electronic and hard copy formats of​ ​the submission as well, or only listed as redacted on the unbound copy?​ ​a.​ ​Yes​ ​4.​ ​Does the District have a desired completion date to reference within the firm's response​ ​to Section 6 (Time for Performance)?​ ​a.​ ​14-16 months​ ​5.​ ​Will the firm selected to complete the Facilities Master Plan be precluded from pursuing​ ​future project work that results from the FMP?​ ​a.​ ​No​ ​6.​ ​Regarding the Facility Condition Assessment Review scope, please provide a current list​ ​of district assets with their respective total floor area.​ ​a.​ ​Please reference answer for question #1 above.​ ​7.​ ​When would you like to initiate the Facilities Master Plan and what overall timeline do​ ​you have in mind?​ ​a.​ ​The FMP Consultant should be prepared to begin the work as early as May 2026.​ ​8.​ ​Are there key Board meetings, community milestones, or statutory deadlines the plan​ ​should align with?​ ​1​ ​a.​ ​While no specific Board or statutory deadlines have been finalized at this time,​ ​the District anticipates periodic Board updates and structured community​ ​engagement throughout the master planning process.
