Access Control System Upgrade

Description

The County of Tuolumne is seeking proposals from experienced firms authorized to upgrade and expand its existing Hirsch Electronics Velocity electronic physical access control system (EPACS). The primary focus of the project will be migrating Velocity version 3.1 to a current instance of Velocity (including, but not limited to, upgrading the Microsoft SQL version) and expanding access controls for the County's Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) departments, including the Department of Social Services (DSS), Behavioral Health Department (BH), Public Health Department (PH) and Veterans Service Office (VSO).  These departments are spread across several campuses in Sonora, California.  Other County location updates/installations may include, but are not limited to, those housing County administration, Animal Control, and Justice departments (such as Probation and Sheriff) to be determined and assigned on an as needed basis.Firms responding to this RFP should be knowledgeable in and experienced with meeting the requirements of both State and Federal procedures pertaining to grant-funded projects. The County intends to award one (1) contract to the most successful proposer to this RFP.
