Abatement And Demolition 307 Center Street

Description

The City of Bridgeport seeks fixed cost bids for the Abatement and Demolition of a fire damaged building at 307 Central Street.  The fire at 307 Central Street occurred sometime after April 2020 and rendered the building as unsafe structure with a debris pile and a portion of the building where masonry walls remain in place.   The Assessors’ Field Card shows the structure as being a two-story industrial building constructed in 1920. Total building area of 8,242 square feet.   A Notice of Condemnation and Order of Demolition for 307Central Street was recorded in the public record on December 19, 2022. This is a fixed lump sum priced bid to demolish, load out and properly dispose of the two buildings at 307 Center Street.  Building material shall be sorted and disposed of in accordance with the AWP.    The foundations and slabs will remain in place.  Completion of our work is to be performed in one continuous uninterrupted operation. The are no environmental reports available on the property.  State of Connecticut prevailing wages and certified payrolls are requiredPayment and Performance
