A&E and Related Services for Council Creek Regional Trail Enhanced Crossings Project

Description

The project will complete crossings of thirteen major roadways and several local roadways and driveways for the Council Creek Regional Trail (CCRT) Project, creating a new approximately 6-mile, multiuse paved trail, including two pedestrian bridge structures, connecting Hillsboro and Forest Grove, and providing a safe off-street facility for users of all ages and abilities. The project area includes railroad right-of-way between Douglas Street in Forest Grove and Dennis Avenue in Hillsboro. The trail will extend east and west between the Hillsboro Regional Center (specifically, the Mark O. Hatfield Government Center Light Rail Station) and Forest Grove Town Center (Pacific University and downtown Forest Grove). The centers are major destinations for Council Creek Regional Trail potential users and for travelers in the Tualatin Valley Highway corridor. The CCRT Project is not included in this RFP.  Preliminary concepts are available to download here: Enhanced Crossings Concepts .
