The overall objective of this document is to describe the services and responsibilities of the CONSULTANT for developing plans, specifications, estimates, and performing all other professional engineering work for the project. The work consists of an urban typical section with four 11’ (eleven foot) travel lanes separated by an 11’ (eleven foot) center two-way left turn lane and mid-block crossing equipped with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB’s). Work will also include signal adjustments to complement the lane reconfiguration at the affected intersections and drainage improvements to account for additional stormwater. The Consultant will be required to prepare plans for Right-of-Way acquisition.
